Open Question: Can a Ninja 250r cruise on the freeway?
I am at the point where I am interested in getting a motorcycle in a few years to keep money on gas. I really like the mpgs the 250 gets. I am wondering if the 250r is quick enough to cruise on the highway for a while? I am interested in if it is possible, i know it is not ideal because of its light weight.

Open Question: What are the best cruise and stay places?
I saw that there are trips out there that you can take that will start out as a cruise and bring you to an island where you stay, then cruise back in 4 days or so. I want to know where to receive the best deals on one and where are the best places to go. My girlfriend and I plan to make this trip next year sometime, we are just now starting to plan for this and are looking for some help. We will be in our early 20's and want to relax and receive away from our hectic lives. We do like to go out and dance and hit up a club or two, but we want to try to avoid spring breakers and wild crazy party spots. We want to be able to relax but also go out and have fun some night too. I have been on a 7 day carnival cruise before, but my girlfriend has never been on a cruise or to an island. She does not know how she would do on a cruise boat for a week so we want to do the cruise and stay options. Any help would b appreciated. Thank you.

Open Question: Scion XD Cruise Control Acceleration?
Since the Prius and the relax of Toyota have gone downhill, I thought I'd post this little problem and look if anyone else has the same issue. Scion is made by Toyota and it wasn't until this whole gas pedal thing emerged that I really thought this could be some sort of malfunction. If I've got cruise control engaged and I'm going anywhere from 70-75 (it did this once when I was going 65) my car will randomly accelerate. It's gone up past 85 one time before I stopped it. It revs just as if I'd floored it at a green light - I've done this before so I know what it sounds like :). It will continue to accelerate until I turn cruise control off. I don't know if it would just continue to accelerate because I don't feel like letting it go and possibly dying. The alternative would be that it's just 75 is just the point of a gear switch, however, I doubt it would rev and speed up that much. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this particular issue. I'm still able to switch gears and my pedal doesn't receive stuck so I shouldn't be getting into any Prius trouble anytime soon ;)

Open Question: Help edit my Titanic conclusion?
Hey everyone! :) So, I've been working really difficult on my Titanic conclusion but I'm terrible at writing and I have no one to skim over it and help me with it! Do you think you could give me a couple of suggestions and tell me if it's alright? (Plus, it has to be 7 sentences and mine's only 6.......am I doing something wrong?) Here it is: The sinking of the Titanic is still among the many great and tragic accidents to occur at sea in our history. Not only was it the biggest and most luxurious, it was also the most sick-fated cruise boat as it sailed off on its first and last voyage. Along with its sinking, more than half of its passengers would be taken with it to the bottom of the sea. Its sinking later introduced a new era of reality where people began to understand that even the greatest technology was not perfect, and that there was certainly no such thing as an “unsinkable boat.” Its rediscovery so many years later would reawaken the desire to know every that happened on that historic night. The Titanic will most likely continue to be an appeal to people for many more years, since every generation is able to take something different from its tragedy. Please help me quickly........ I really appreciate this and I'm not trying to cheat! (I promise!) I'm just worried I haven't done it right..... Thanks!

I slept with another lady on a Carnival Cruise boat on my honeymoon. It was completely unintentional. I didn't arrive back to my cabin until about 3am. I told her that I was at the bar drinking but then when we got our bill at the end of the cruise (for extra charges like alcohol) There was none. I need a good cover up story..what should I say? Btw, the truth not an option! So far, I think I'll be in the clear. I think with time this will just pass.

Open Question: How difficult is it to get work on a cruise liner?
I have roughly 3 years of hospitality experience, working as a housekeeper, a supervisor and a night auditor. I also have over 3 years of customer service experience, but no hospitality degree to talk of (I have a BA in psychology). I really, really want to receive a job and I'm planning to receive CPR before I apply to any of these. However, it seems as though a second language is a prerequisite for a lot of these and I don't have a working knowledge of one yet, though I plan to learn. How good of a chance do I have to attain a job on a cruise line?

Resolved Question: A question for anyone w/ children who've cruised w/ Carnival... (camp carnival)?
My family is going on a cruise this June, my son is going too and he'll be almost 22 months at the time of the cruise. I was so excited when I read about Camp Carnival, a daycare facility on the boat for 2-11 year olds. My question is, because my son is going to be 2 months shy of the 2 year mark, will they give us any trouble about taking him? I read the policy and it says that no one below 2 can attend, but really... 2 months short?? They shouldn't have a problem taking him, right?

Open Question: What is the process for identifying passengers who wish to buy alcohol on a Carnival Cruise?
I'm planning a bachelor party for my older brother. We are planning to board a four night Carnival cruise to Mexico from Los Angeles. In our group of seven to ten will be people from ages 25-30. This excludes me at age 18 =(. I have a pretty powerful fake ID, however, I'm worried that they will be identifying based off of passports. I'm fully aware that the drinking age is enforced at 21 years. Does anyone know anything about the staff's methods of identifying? Does anyone have any experience with working around a similar situation? And can anyone verify that a good fake will do the job? Thanks!

Open Question: can you please help me correct this english homework? BIG MARK FOR ME!?
just copy and glue what i put on here and fill in the mistakes, please help me, my teacher is too busy and for once i want a good mark, its a film review on the movie the outsiders, based on the book The Outsider's by S.E Hinton. if you have any word sujestions please change that also, spelling punctuation ect. Thankyou SO much in advance. By Katherine ***** Film Review – The Outsiders Are you the type of person that loves old action quick pace movies? A thriller with awesome suspense and heart pumping action. The outsider’s is the film for you. As you open the book, instantly you are put into a place with no boundaries, a world Were anything can happen, Crime and Violence thrive, a world Beyond unjust, and without realising, you have entered the world of Hinton. If there was a list of the greatest authors of every time, S.E Hinton would be one of those names, forever in glory on this great list of writers. In 1983 it was made into a box office hit at the movies and will always be an every time classic. Based on the 1966 novel ‘The Outsiders’ By S.E Hinton, a brilliant movie was born. Directed superbly by Francis Coppola, Presented by Universal studios, The outsiders was brought to life by the young cast members that are now some of Hollywoods biggest stars including Tom Cruise, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Patrick Swayze, Thomas Howell and Dianne Lane. In a divided society we look into the life of a young boy named Ponyboy Curtis and his pal Johnny Cade, they break the usual stereotype of a Greaser and like the little things in life like sunsets, books and poems which is considered odd in the Greaser society. In a divided society we take a look into the lives of Ponyboy Curtis and his pal Johnny Cade, The movie was set in 1966 in a city called Tulsa, when the 2 of them receive tangled in a murder of a Soc, they catch a train and run away from the situation, but when they return different people things have got worse. After being rushed in an ambulance to the hospital; Johnny suffered a serious back injury and was later told that he would never walk again. This resulted in the Socs and the Greasers getting ready for the ultimate showdown, from here anything could happen. Right now your probably pondering “how did this mess arrive to be?” well you will just have to watch the movie. Seeing as this movie is old, the effects aren’t as good as now days effects, but I think they perfectly captured the era and clothes, making everything look authentic, If I could criticise one thing it would be that sometimes the scenes were quite dark, making it difficult to look what was happening at the time, but this only happened when it was at night. The music in some places was very corny, but made an impact in the violent scenes making the movie much better to watch. When I saw the actors I was glad to look them when they were so young, I feel honoured that I saw a movie that launched their careers. Although some of the tiny plots and details were left out, Coppola kept extremely close to the book, creating a movie that has sound effects and visual scenes that are so amazing that books simply cannot capture it. Coppola created the movie so well, for a film being shot in the 1980’s I thought it was magnificent, with a great story line and a brilliant cast, I give my thanks to Coppola. every in every the movie was excellent, its a touching film of triumph and friendship, with action and thrills along the way, i highly recomend this film to anyone who has read the book. This movie really was a masterpeice.

Open Question: How do I get comedian to notice me?
Ok, so I want your SERIOUS advice. Meaning, I need you to do some thinking for me. There's a comedian I like, I won't say who but you've most likely never heard of him. He's pretty successful online, and like most good comedians, he has a twitter. And it's hilarious. Only problem is, he never "tweets" at anybody, just writes silly things. If I keep tweeting silly things at him do you think eventually he'll notice me? Or think I'm a stalker? I just think he's the coolest and I want him and I to meet. He's not Tom Cruise but he has been in some major things. I also know he's single. Other prob-- he lives in LA and I live in NY but it's not that big of a prob.... Please help? I want to be forward with him but not stalkerish. Please don't tell me unnecessary things. Do you think he reads his direct msgs? He has about 50,000 followers.

Open Question: will space saver wheel from Toyota Verso fit VW Touran?
Touran (98 model) comes with no spare wheel what-so-ever. Slightly concerned about the idea of cruising the countries motorways without any spare, given that I have changed about 3 tyres at the roadside in the past 7 or 8 years, but I do have a space saver tyre in my garage that would be ideal just to stand in the boot in case of emergency. It has 5 lugs (nuts) the Corolla Verso and the Touran both take the same tyre size (for their standard tyres) so I can assume weight loading and the like will be the same for the emergency tyre, but I can't find any online details regarding the hub bore, the nut circumference, inset or any of those details which I guess are key to knowing if the new rim will fit on the car. Is there any such thing as a 'standard' and if so, do Toyota and VW subscribe to it ??

Open Question: Would do find it rude if a celebrity didn't introduce themselves to you?
Nowadays, there are many high profile celebrities and we know a lot of their names. I'm just going to make up a hypothetical situation: You're a "new actor" and you've been casted in a new movie (so no one has heard of you yet) and you meet a well-known celebrity (e.g. Tom Cruise) on the set. This is the first time you've met each other and you start by introducing yourself, "Hi, I'm MM. It's a pleasure to meet you" Now if Tom replies with "Hi I'm Tom it's pleasure to meet you too" everything would be alright BUT if Tom DOES NOT introduce himself and says "Hi, it's nice to meet you" would you consider that as rude? He's a pretty famous guy and I'm sure we every know who he is but because he's so well-known he assumes that EVERYONE knows his name and he feels that there is no need for him to introduce himself (since he's so famous). Now I'm not saying that Tom Cruise is an arrogant, rude person or anything, that was just an example. But if any celebrity failed to engage in proper etiquette and manners by not introducing themselves to people they don't know, would you find it rude? Any opinions appreciated! Edit: In response to Dana's question: Yeah, I guess it would be awkward. But what if you meet a celebrity and you know that they're well-known but you forget what their name is? or maybe the other way around. You know a celebrity's name but you can't seem to remember who he/she is. e.g. I had no idea that Kelsey Grammar was the guy on Frasier until someone told me but I knew that "Kelsey Grammar" was a celeb's name. Edit @: Sorry, Dana's ANSWER.
